Millennium Nurses Ltd. operates an equal opportunities policy, and discrimination against a client or staff on the grounds of race, nationality, language, religion or beliefs, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation or on social standing will not be tolerated. Management and personnel will not discriminate between clients who pay for their services and those who do not. Any grievances in this regard should be brought to the immediate attention of the Manager at Millennium Nurses Ltd.

Our agency assures all clients that:

We, the service provider, aim to provide a quality service which reflects the needs of the users regardless of their lifestyle, taking into account the varying preferences of the service users as individuals and as a family.

We will make every effort to ensure that the service provided is sensitive to the diverse cultural and religious requirements of the client.

If the behaviour of the client (racial, verbal or sexual harassment etc.) towards a Carer causes the possibility of a service being withdrawn, the management will immediately contact the buyer of the service for advice. Service will not be withdrawn until the service buyer has been contacted unless in circumstances such that it is impossible to maintain service, such as physical violence directed to the staff.

Every effort is made to match staff to clients in order that cultural and religious needs are met as closely as possible. Staff will be supported in their understanding of the client’s customs, values and spiritual beliefs.

All personnel have a duty to adhere to the equal opportunities policy and failure to do so may be a cause for disciplinary measures to be taken which could ultimately lead to dismissal. We will continuously review our equal opportunities policy to ensure its effectiveness.
